How to decipher the mystery of a woman’s heart? A practical guide.

The objective of this report is to provide the reader with a practical guide on how to approach a woman with presumed ischemic heart disease (IHD). Furthermore, it serves as a means to increase awareness for the female heart and to promote research exploring the fundamental biological differences that exist between men and women having an impact on the epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis and/or treatment of cardiovascular disease.
