Biography
Prof dr Paul Dendale is honorary president of the European Association of Preventive Cardiology. He is specialised in cardiac rehabilitation and prevention and his research interests are amongst others the use of digital health technology to increase uptake and effects of cardiac rehabilitation. He is past chair of the department of cardiology at Jessa Hospital Hasselt, Belgium, and full professor of cardiovascular pathophysiology at Hasselt University. He is member of the ESC Advocacy committee
