Biography
Andreas Pflaumer was trained in Munich, Germany, and was previously a senior physician at the German Heart Center in Munich. He is a Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist and Clinical Leader for Invasive electrophysiology at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, a Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Melbourne and an Honorary Fellow at the MCRI. His research interests include invasive electrophysiology, quality improvement in ablation therapy, and preventing sudden death in children. He is currently the Chair of the Paediatric Committee for APHRS and in the Executive Committee for PACES.
