Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) & Surgery (Vascular) @ Icahn School of Medicine, Assoc. Director of Mt Sinai Heart, Director, CV Innovation at Mt Sinai Hospital, NYC and Chief of Cardiology, MSQ; TCT Director, Interventional Cardiology Textbook Editor (3rd Edition, Wiley, UK). After his studies at the University of Athens, served as Medical Officer, Hellenic Navy. He trained in Medicine @Brown University, and Cardiology&Interventional @Mount Sinai. Among the 5 founding physicians of Cardiovascular Research Foundation NYC, he was faculty @Lenox Hill & Columbia University Medical Center; he led establishment of Interventional Fellowship Programs in both. He is Master and past-Trustee of both ACC & SCAI; Fellow of ESC,AHA; founder of ACC Interventional Council/Section & Cardiology Chair at Onassis Heart Center.
