Professor Harald Sourij

Harald Sourij graduated sub auspiciis presidentis rei publicae 2004 from the Medical University of Graz, Austria where he subsequently did his training in General Medicine and Endocrinology and Metabolism. In 2010 he moved to Oxford, UK and joined the Diabetes Trials Unit to work with Professor Rury Holman on diabetes outcome trials In 2013 he returned to the Medical University of Graz, Austria, where he became Full Professor for Interdisciplinary Metabolic Medicine in 2021. He is currently Deputy Director of the Division of Endocrinology and Diabetology, Head of the Diabetes Outpatient Clinic and Director of the Interdisciplinary Metabolic Medicine Trials Unit at the Medical University of Graz, Austria.
