Jason Chai obtained his medical degree from Cardiff University, United Kingdom in 2014. He underwent postgraduate medical training around Bristol and Bath, United Kingdom before starting his training as a Cardiologist in Oxford, United Kingdom. His subspecialty of interest is interventional cardiology and coronary artery disease, with an interest in coronary microvascular dysfunction.
He is currently pursuing a DPhil in the University of Oxford. His research project is about understanding inflammatory processes in patients with diabetes who present with coronary artery disease, in particular the role of innate immune memory in driving coronary artery disease.
