Prof. Dr. Teoman Kılıç is the Director of Structural Heart Interventions at Kocaeli University since 2013 and President of the Turkish Working Group of Interventional Cardiology (TSC-TAPCI). He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine (1998) and completed cardiology training at Kocaeli University. He gained international experience at Harvard University (2006) and in Germany (2011) focusing on advanced interventional and structural heart intervention procedures. Prof. Kılıç performed Turkey’s first LAMPOON procedure and pioneered the “Kılıç technique” in pulmonary valvuloplasty. He has published over 80 scientific papers, trained physicians worldwide, and led national and international cardiology programs. His clinical and academic focus includes TAVI, TMVR, and complex structural heart interventions.
