Piera is a young doctor with a deep interest in congenital heart diseases. Since her undergraduate medical training, Piera has had the great privilege to learn from expert cardiac scientists and cardiologists in leading heart centres such as Royal Brompton Hospital (London), Hammersmith Hospital (London), Hospital for Sick Children (Toronto), St. Georges University Hospital (London) and Bambino Gesù Paediatric Hospital (Rome). Piera is working very hard to fulfil her aspiration to become an ACHD cardiologist and a university professor in prestigious institutions.
