Doctor Maria Bozika

Maria Bozika, MD, is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Drakos Laboratory at the Cardiovascular Research and Training Institute, University of Utah, studying myocardial recovery in heart failure. She trained in chemistry and medicine at the University of Patras, leading student research teams in interventional cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology, and completed a research internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School. She is a member of the Early-Career Editorial Board of Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine and a peer reviewer for cardiovascular journals.
