Biography
Maria Bozika is a fifth-year medical student at the University of Patras, School of Medicine, ranked first in the graduate admission examinations in 2021. With a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Patras, she combines a strong foundation in science with her passion for cardiology. As a leader of a student research team in the Cardiology Department, Maria has overseen multiple interventional cardiology research projects, coordinating patient recruitment and ensuring data integrity.
Her work includes publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at international cardiology conferences. Skilled in clinical research, patient management, and data analysis using R, Maria is a certified PHTLS and "Stop the Bleed" trainer. She speaks Greek, English, and German and enjoys advancing women's roles in cardiology while fostering collaboration in medical research. Extremely passionate and decisive about pursuing electrophysiology.
