Professor Martina Brueckmann

Martina Brueckmann is an experienced clinical development leader with a proven track record in strategic and executional oversight of global trials across CRVM. Prior to joining Roche in 2026, she served as the Head of Clinical Development, Cardiorenal at Boehringer Ingelheim leading the late-stage clinical development program in cardiorenal diseases, which comprised more than 40,000 patients in late-stage clinical trials across multiple assets (incretins, aldosterone synthase inhibitor, lytics, sGC activator). Cardiologist by training with more than 10 years of clinical practice and more than 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She is a co-author on more than 200 publications in peer-reviewed Journals including N Engl J Med, Lancet, Eur Heart J, EJHF, Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology. She also serves as a Professor and Lecturer for Medical students at the University of Heidelberg-Mannheim.
