Cardiology Nurse Consultant – With extensive experience in cardiology and emergency care, Helen works autonomously in the management of acute cardiac patients. A key aspect of Helen's role is the management of patients with confirmed Acute Coronary Syndrome, facilitating early angiography and intervention (PCI) following risk stratification. Helen is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive expertise in cardiology research and clinical practice. A nurse with advanced qualifications—including a BSc in Specialist Practice and an MSc in Advanced Healthcare Practice—Helen has consistently demonstrated excellence in patient care and research leadership. As an independent prescriber and participant in the British Cardiac Society Emerging Leadership Program (cohort 2023), Helen is committed to advancing cardiovascular health. With a strong research background, she has served as the principal investigator for a number of studies. She's keen runner, embracing for resilience.
