Lineke Hens is a cardiologist, specialised in chronic heart failure and cardiomyopathies. She graduated from the University of Leuven in 2006 and succeeded in 2017 the post graduate course in heart failure in Zurich, Switzerland. She has a 10 year clinical experience in heart transplantation , cardiomyopathies and echocardiography as a member of the staff at the university Hospital of Ghent, Belgium. In 2022 she moved to AZ groeninge Kortrijk, public Hospital. She is an active member of the Belgian working group on Heart failure, participating in the development of Belgian guidelines for GP's concerning heart failure and palliative care in heart failure.
