Mr Nicholas Grubic

Nicholas Grubic (he/him) is a doctoral student in Epidemiology at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health (University of Toronto). He received his Master of Science in Epidemiology, Bachelor of Science, and Certificate in Business from Queen’s University. His research interests encompass cardiovascular epidemiology, social determinants of health, child/adolescent health, and health administrative data. His research has culminated in a total of 35 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals, including the British Medical Journal, Canadian Journal of Cardiology, and British Journal of Sports Medicine. Nicholas is an active trainee committee member of Canadian Cardiovascular Society and an editorial board member of both the Canadian Journal of Cardiology and Canadian Journal of Cardiology Open. He is also a member of the Heart and Stroke Young Leader’s Committee, which is a philanthropic group of young professionals that aim to improve heart health and awareness across Canada.
