Doctor Irene Cattapan

Irene is a Pediatrician and PhD candidate at University of Padua, Italy. Her main research interests are Congenital Heart Disease and Echocardiography. Her PhD project is about atrioventricular valve segmentation starting from transthoracic echocardiography. From June 2022 she started a research fellowship at the Katholieke Universiteit of Leuven, Belgium. There, she is currently applying Shear Wave Elastography to univentricular hearts palliated according to Fontan physiology.
