Senior consultant in internal medicine and coagulation disorders, working clinically with emergency medicine and specialized in the area venous thrombosis and pregnancy. Doctoral degree at Karolinska Institutet 2013. Main supervisor for two PhD students with different areas of research: *Gargi Gautam: Towards understanding recurrent venous thromboembolism in clinical practice *Linnea Hassbring: Pregnancy-related venous thromboembolism: Diagnostic challenges and the impact of obesity. Co-supervisor for five PhD students with topics in the venous thromboembolism area, both register and clinical studies with a main focus on diagnostic improvements. Local PI for the PE-NORDIC international multicenter observational study, where we follow patients with pulmonary embolism who underwent reperfusion treatment (thrombolysis or thrombectomy).
