Prof. Alp Burak Çatakoğlu is an interventional cardiologist with over 20 years of experience in complex coronary and structural heart interventions. He serves as Director of Interventional Cardiology at Liv Hospital Ulus, Istanbul. His clinical expertise includes left main and bifurcation PCI, chronic total occlusions, intracoronary imaging (IVUS/OCT), physiology-guided interventions, TAVI, transcatheter edge-to-edge repair, ASD/PFO closure, LAA closure, peripheral interventions, and renal denervation. He is President of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation of Türkiye, Past President of the Society of Cardiovascular Interventions of Türkiye, and a former board member of the Turkish Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions. Prof. Çatakoğlu is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and actively contributes to international education and scientific initiatives in interventional cardiology.
