Biography
Richard Krasuski, MD, FACC, FAHA, FESC, FSCAI is the Schar Family Endowed Chair of Adult Congenital Heart Disease at the Inova Heart and Vascular Institute. He is also Adjunct Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at Duke University Health System. He is certified by the ABIM as Diplomate in ACHD, Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine. He was recruited by Inova in 2026 to coordinate the congenital heart disease program. He performs structural and congenital heart interventions including balloon pulmonary angioplasty in CTEPH. He currently serves on editorials boards/is a reviewer for >20 leading medical publications and has authored or co-authored >400 peer-reviewed articles, abstracts and book chapters related to his specialty interests.
