Doctor Quattrini working since 2001 as a sports medicine doctor with a particular interest in sports cardiology. He worked until 2017 at the Institute of Sport Medicine and Science of the Italian National Committee in the Cardiology Department directed by Prof. Antonio Pelliccia and currently as medical director of the Sports Medicine Unit of the Prevention Department of National Health System in the Lazio Region. Dr. Quattrini is particularly interested in the field of cardiac arrhythmias and sudden death in sport but recently its focus has shifted to preventive cardiology and the promotion of changing in lifstyle and implementing physical activity as primary and secondary prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases.
