Doctor Vlad Vasile

Dr. Vlad Vasile is a preventive cardiologist with a joint appointment in Laboratory Medicine at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. He is a consultant and the medical director of the Cardiovascular Health Clinic. He also serves as Practice Chair of Preventive Cardiology. He is co-director of the Clinical Specialty Laboratory. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Laboratory Medicine and Pathology. His areas of research/interest include cardiac biomarkers with a focus on novel biomarkers and modalities to assess, prevent and mitigate cardiovascular risk.
