Professor Domenico Galzerano

Prof. Domenico Galzerano, MD, FESC, FEACVI, FISC, is Professor of Medicine at Alfaisal University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Consultant in Cardiology and Cardiac Imaging at the Heart Centre of Excellence , King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He currently serves on the EACVI Board as a member of the Nominating Committee and is an active member of the EACVI Web and Communication Committee and the Shared Interest Groups Committee. From February 2021 to November 2025, he served as Editor-in-Chief of Monaldi Archives for Chest Disease (Italy). A pioneer in three-dimensional echocardiography, he has contributed to its evolution since its early days at Tufts University, Boston, where he worked in both clinical and research settings.
