Professor Eli I. Lev graduated from the faculty of medicine, Tel-Aviv University. His medical training included internal medicine residency at the Tel-Aviv Medical Center, and at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, NY, USA, cardiology fellowship at the Rabin Medical Center, Israel, and interventional cardiology fellowship at the Methodist DeBakey Heart Center and Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX, USA. After returning to Israel, he served as the director of interventional cardiology at Hasharon hospital, Rabin medical Center, Israel, as well as the director of cardiovascular research laboratory at Rabin Medical center, Israel. Since 2017 he is the director of the Cardiology Division, at the Assuta Ashdod University Hospital, Israel. Academically, Eli Lev is a Professor of Cardiology at the Ben-Gurion University and tTel-Aviv University, Israel, and served as vice dean at the Ben-Gurion University faculty of the Negev. In addition, he is the president of the Israel Heart Society.
