Assistant Professor Jakub Jurica

I work as an internist in an internal medicine department focused on providing complex clinical care to hospitalised patients. As part of my clinical practice, I am specifically interested in diagnosing and treating patients with chronic heart failure, as well as studying and performing transthoracic echocardiography. As a researcher, I am involved in studying echocardiographic, endothelial, molecular and other novel biomarkers in patients with chronic heart failure. In addition, I investigate the effects of GLP-1RA on metabolic parameters, circulating miRNA expression and HFpEF in patients with obesity. I have also participated in the GRASP-HF study as an investigator.
