Biography
As a professor and researcher at the Federal University of Acre, in the Amazon Basin, he's been researched the peculiarities of cardiovascular diseases in this economically underdeveloped region in Brazil. Markedly, he's been studied the connection between tropical neglected diseases, that are still endemic in the Acre state, and cardiovascular diseases. He's been worked to build an atmosphere of innovation in a research group he coordinates involving students from the Federal University of Acre in collaboration with experts from other universities
