Doctor Teodora Popa

Teodora Popa is a cardiology resident at the Institute of Cardiovascular and Heart Diseases in Timișoara, Romania. She graduated from Victor Babeș University of Medicine and Pharmacy, where her thesis focused on the follow-up of patients requiring triple antithrombotic therapy after acute myocardial infarction. Her clinical focus is centered on heart failure, cardiomyopathies, and multimodality cardiac imaging, with particular interest in echocardiographic assessment and structural heart disease. She has a particular interest in complex cardiomyopathies and valvular heart disease, reflected in her clinical case presentations at national scientific meetings. In the free time, she is actively involved in cardiovascular prevention initiatives through participation in rural outreach programs, contributing to risk stratification and patient education in underserved communities.
