Dima Nasrawi is an experienced Registered Nurse and academic, currently serving as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Health at Southern Cross University. With a strong background in cardiac nursing and a passion for participatory action research, Dima brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and academic rigor to her work. She is a PhD candidate whose research focuses on co-designing healthcare pathways with professionals, patients, and carers—particularly in the areas of cardiac rehabilitation and postoperative care. Dima holds a Master of Advanced Nursing Practice and a Graduate Diploma in Health Research from Griffith University. Her academic contributions include award-winning publications in higher education policy and critical care, and she is a recipient of the 2022 Best Article Award from the Journal of Higher Education Policy and Management. Dima is also an active member of the Australian Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation Association.
