Ms Willemijn Van Maarschalkerwaart

Willemijn van Maarschalkerwaart is a MD and PhD student at the department of cardiology of OLVG (Amsterdam, the Netherlands) in collaboration with the Erasmus MC (Rotterdam, the Netherlands). Her research focuses on heart failure patients, with a special interest in remote monitoring strategies for worsening heart failure and ambulatory intravenous diuretic treatment strategies as an alternative to hospitalization in patients with a worsening heart failure episode. She also published about the impact of socio-economic inequalities on heart failure prevalence and outcomes.
