Miss Wendan Shi

Miss Wendan Shi is a third-year PhD Candidate currently studying at the Susan Wakil School of Nursing and Midwifery and Charles Perkins Centre at the University of Sydney. She is also working as a nurse researcher in the Centre for Research in Nursing and Health at the St George Hospital, New South Wales, Australia. She has previously completed a first-class Honours Bachelor Degree in Nursing. She has been a registered nurse in Australia for nine years and a registered nurse in China for three years. She has a clinical specialty and research interest in cardiovascular nursing, secondary prevention and cardiac rehabilitation. In addition, her current research project has focused on educational interventions for a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) group of Chinese immigrants with coronary heart disease living in Australia. She is a current CSANZ member, ESC ACNAP sliver member, and a student member of the China Studies Centre at the University of Sydney.
