Biography
Dr. Palacios Astorquiza is a general physician based in Colombia with a strong focus on cardiovascular medicine and a particular interest in heart failure and cardiometabolic disease. He is actively involved in clinical research, including the development of artificial intelligence models aimed at improving characterization, risk stratification, and personalized treatment in patients with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
He is the founder and leader of the Cardiovascular medicina research group of Universidad El Bosque established in 2020, where he leads initiatives focused on clinical data integration and translational applications in cardiology. His work also includes the design of innovative clinical tools to support medical education and decision-making.
