Dr. Giuseppe Arena live in Pisa, Tuscany, Italy. On March 1988 he achieved Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery at University of Pisa. On November 1992 he achieved Specialization in Cardiology at University of Siena. On 1994 he has followed a least 40 sessions of transcatheter ablation performed by Dr. Michel Haïsseguerre at the Hôpital Cardiologique du Haute-Lévêcque, Bordeaux-Pessac, France, directed by Dr. Jacques Clémenty. From January 2009 he is Director of the Intensive Coronary Care Unit of the Apuane Hospital of Massa Carrara. Besides the activity as Cardiologist, within the Operative Unit of Arrhythmology he performs daily many procedures on the field of Interventional Arrhythmology: pacemakers, ICDs, CRT, percutaneous removal of pacing and ICD chronically implanted leads, transcatheter ablation of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias using conventional and non conventional mapping systems. From 2021 he is Fellow of ANMCO (the Italian Association of Hospital Cardiologists).
