Biography
Georgios Zormpas is an Interventional Cardiology Fellow in the Department of Cardiology at Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. He earned his medical degree from Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2019, and completed a full training in Cardiology in the Second Department of Cardiology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in early 2026. He is a PhD candidate in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki focusing on the role of flow-mediated dilatation in acute coronary syndromes. He has a particular interest in Interventional Cardiology, especially in chronic total occlusions and complex and high-risk procedures.
