Biography
Dr Mohammadbagher Sharifkazemi,associate professor of medicine (cardiology), was born in Shiraz, a city in south of Iran. In 1965, complete his medical education by 1989, internal medicine specialty by 1992, and cardiovascular subspecialty by 1996 at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences (SUMS). His training includes: Postgraduate training, scholarship in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing ( in 1999, for 4 months ) at Saint Louis University in the United States, interventional cardiology (non-accreditation) training at Lavasani Hospital in Tehran (Iran, 2003-2004), postgraduate training , scholarship in Electrophysiology and Pacing ( in 2005, for 6 months ) at Toronto University in Canada, one year fellowship training in Cardiac electrophysiology and pacing at Rajaie Cardiovascular Medical and Research Center Iran University of Medical Sciences (Iran) in 2008-2009. Dr Sharifkazemi also completed a MSc in Medical Ultrasound (Echocardiography) at Imperial College London in 2014-15.
