Dr. Abida Hasna Laila is a General Practitioner from West Java, Indonesia. She obtained her M.D. qualification from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Cardiovascular and Respiratory Healthcare at Imperial College London, beginning in 2024 under a full scholarship from the Indonesian government. She aspires to become an arrhythmia consultant and to pursue a PhD in cardiovascular medicine.
Dr. Laila's research interests focus on arrhythmia, rheumatic heart disease, and emergency medicine. She has presented multiple abstracts at international scientific meetings, including the Singapore Cardiac Society Annual Scientific Meeting, the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Indonesian Heart Association, and the Indonesian Heart Rhythm Association Annual Scientific Meeting.
Dr. Laila is fluent in Indonesian, English, Javanese, and Sundanese. She enjoys reading poetry, traveling to new countries, and spending time with her son and husband.
