Member of:

European Society of Cardiology

Dr Devaux's background training is in Biological Sciences, focusing on Biology and Health during his PhD in France and a post-doc in the US. He joined the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH) in 2005 and became Head of the Cardiovascular Research Unit in 2017. His main interest is the discovery and validation of novel RNA biomarkers and therapeutic targets of cardiac disease. He is especially interested in translational research, noncoding RNAs, myocardial infarction, heart failure and cardiac arrest. He founded the Cardiolinc network in 2014 and currently chairs the EU-CardioRNA COST Action CA17129, a H2020-funded network of researchers from 37 EU and international partner countries aiming to advance the research on RNAs in cardiovascular disease through collaboration and networking activities.
