Pr Patrice Guerin is an Interventional cardiologist from the University Hospital of Nantes, head of the Interventional cardiology Unit. He is the principal investigator of the randomized "MitraHR" study comparing conventional surgery with percutaneous edge-to-edge repair of primary mitral regurgitation in patients at high or intermediate operative risk. Les résultats sont attendus en 2026. His research interests include acquired valvular heart disease and adults with congenital heart disease. He has several ongoing projects in collaboration with the Ecole Centrale de Nantes (LHEEA), specialized in fluid hemodynamics
