Bernhard Mumm

Married since 1989, German citizen. Living close to Munich/Germany.
Bernhard Mumm has more than 35 years of entrepreneurial and technological experience as well as in-depth clinical expertise. Prior to joining TOMTEC, he worked at Kontron Medical Image Analysis GmbH, pioneering MRI and CT 3D workstations. After entering TOMTEC in 1991 as one of the first employees, Bernhard served in various management positions until he became in 1997 one of the major shareholders and President & CTO/COO. Since mid of 2017 he is a Consultant for TOMTEC/Philips Healthcare in the field of Strategic Innovations.
Bernhard holds multiple patents, publications and book chapters in the field of 3D Ultrasound and is regularly lecturing on international scientific congresses. He is an active member of international scientific & standardization committees. Bernhard holds a master’s degree in Engineering (Dipl. Ing.), Computer Science and Cybernetics.
