Biography
Prof. Gaetano Santulli, MD, PhD is a physician-scientist, cardiologist, and internationally recognized expert in cardiovascular medicine, aging, and metabolic disorders. He serves as Professor (Full) and is known for his translational research investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying heart failure, vascular dysfunction, diabetes, and age-related cardiovascular disease. His work bridges basic science and clinical medicine, with particular focus on calcium signaling, mitochondrial biology, endothelial function, inflammation, and cardiometabolic health.
