Biography
Dr. Giovanni Occhipinti is a Cardiologist affiliated with the Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria “Policlinico G. Rodolico-S. Marco” in Catania, Italy. He earned his Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the "Università Campus-Biomedico di Roma" in 2018 and successfully completed his Residency Program at the "University of Catania" in 2023. His research expertise encompasses atherosclerotic and non-atherosclerotic coronary diseases, and antithrombotic therapy. Dr. Occhipinti has demonstrated his research contributions by authoring more than 20 manuscripts and contributing to three textbook chapters. Actively engaged in the academic community, he is a member of The European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI) and holds membership in the Heart Failure Association (HFA). Dr. Giovanni Occhipinti speaks Italian (mother tongue), English, and Spanish.
