Biography
Dr. Julia Lueg is a cardiologist at the Deutsches Herzzentrum der Charité (DHZC) in Berlin since 2019, board-certified in 2026. Her clinical focus is cardiovascular care in women during and outside of pregnancy. She leads the Women's Cardiology clinic at Campus Mitte and is part of the interdisciplinary Pregnancy Heart Team. In 2025 she received funding by the German ministry of Research for a project to reduce the Gender Data Gap in clinical research. She passionately tries to improve interdisciplinary research in the field of Cardio-Obstetrics and serves on the steering committee of the German Working Group on Gender Medicine in Cardiology.
Her clinical interests extend to electrophysiology where she completed a three-month fellowship in Bordeaux, focused on sudden cardiac death prevention.
She loves traveling and is fluent in English and French, the latter acquired during a school exchange in Avignon, France. After an Erasmus stay in Padova, Italy she also speaks solid Italian.
