Professor Songkwan Silaruks

Professor SONGKWAN SILARUKS. She has graduated in Internal medicine with the first class Honor from Faculty or Medicine, Khon Kaen University, Khon Kaen, Thailand since 1987. She has been now worked as distinguished medical consultant, cardiologist consultant at Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, Khon Kaen, Thailand since 1999. She also published more than 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals about rheumatic mitral valvular stenosis, left atrial thrombus and antithrombotic agents. She has been well recognized as an out-standing lecturer, both national and international, about hypertension, dyslipidemia, heart failure, multiple risk factor management, and controversial issues regarding adverse cardiovascular events of COX-2 inhibitors.
