Doctor David Marti Sanchez

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS After the completion of the residency in cardiology in 2009, and the subspecialty in Interventional Cardiology in 2011, I obtained a Consultant position through public exam in Central Defense Hospital. Since 2012, I have been working in this hospital asuming responsibilities in teaching, research and coordination of specific proceedings. In addition to clinical work, my great passions are research, teaching, and regional representation of the specialty. I have published multiple articles in specialized journals, and presented numerous lectures at prestigious meetings of the specialty. I am involved as main investigator in various collaborative projects. Holder of Extraordinary Doctorate Award, since 2016 I am Associate Professor of Cardiology at the University of Alcalá, and Teaching Coordinator of the Central Defense Hospital. Since June 2019 I assume the position of Castilian Society of Cardiology President for the period 2019-2022.
