Doctor Oscar Mendoza Figueredo is a Cardiologist, with his second specialization in Sports Medicine. He served at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Favaloro Foundation alongside Dr. Rene Favaloro between 1992 and 2000. Since 2004 he has worked at the ICBA (Buenos Aires Cardiovascular Institute) in the area of ​​Cardiovascular Prevention, in charge of the Cardiology and Sports Clinic. He is in charge of the pre-competitive evaluation of soccer teams from the Argentine First Division League He has previously presented works on Cardiology and Sports at the Congresses of the American College of Sports Medicine in the USA. He was a member of the Cardiology and Sports Committee of the Argentine Society of Cardiology (SAC) and currently Founding Member of the Argentine Association of Cardiology, Sports and Exercise (AACADE). Prior to graduating as a Doctor, he was a Professional Soccer player and for several years he dedicated himself to Half Marathon and Marathon races
