Olga graduated from the Medical School at the University of Patras, Greece in 2015, after which she moved to the United Kingdom for medical training. After completing her foundation year 2, she was accepted for paediatric training in North West London in 2017. She worked in different subspecialties as part of her rotation, including paediatric cardiology, paediatric intensive care and infectious diseases. She developed an interest in paediatric cardiology and, since November 2020, she joined the Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences at University College London with an honorary contract with the Inherited Cardiovascular Diseases service at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, as a research fellow. She is a PhD candidate, funded by the Onassis Foundation, investigating the natural history and deep phenotypic of RASopathy-associated hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in children.
