Biography
Cardiologist specialized in advanced heart failure and heart transplantation, with certified training in echocardiography, CT coronary angiography and cardiac resonance, and more than 15 years of experience in the study and treatment of cardiomyopathies. Director of the heart failure and heart transplant unit at the DIME Clínica Neurocardiovascular in Cali-Colombia, and leader of the research line REMODELING HF (analysis of the fibrotic process associated with ventricular remodeling in heart failure) from 2011 to 2024. Currently a staff member of the Comprehensive Centre for Cardiovascular Diseases (CIEC) of HM Nou Delfos Hospital in Barcelona-Spain.
