Dr. Amin received his MD (2007) and PhD (2012), both cum laude, from the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands). Since 2016, he has been working as a clinical cardiologist and translational researcher in the field of genetic cardiac diseases at Amsterdam University Medical Centers. Since 2017, he has also been involved in the coordination of the European Reference Network for rare, low-prevalence, and complex cardiac diseases (ERN GUARD-Heart).
