Doctor Paul Dilorenzo

Dr DiLorenzo was born in Frankfurt, Germany and predominately raised in Arlington, Virginia. He graduated Tufts University and University of Virginia School of Medicine. His residency was at George Washington University and Fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He has practiced general and interventional cardiology at Inova Fairfax Hospital for 30 years, published more than a handful of articles including the first report of HIV associated cardiomyopathy, been an investigator in multiple trials particularly in acute myocardial infarction, and given numerous lectures, mostly in the Washington DC metropolitan region although occasionally nationally and internationally. He currently is employed by the Cardiology division of the Inova Medical Group. He is passionate about patient care and thoughtful cardiology. He has 5 children. He travels fairly overseas, mostly to Sweden, England, and Italy where he has family. He loves burgundy wine, good food, and his wife Carol.
