My MD research thesis was on CPET in mitral regurgitation. I have continued my research interest in exercise physiology with further work in valvular heart disease, thoracic surgery and transplant surgery. I have an interest in surgical training and have served in regional and national trainee representative roles..
I am proud to be part of the world class faculty at West Virginia University Heart and Vascular Institute where I primarily work at Camden Clark Medical Centre and maintain my specialist interests in HOCM, aortic surgery and exercise physiology.
In my (very little) spare time I am an amateur art dealer and enjoy cooking.
