Dr. Pasquale Vergara is a clinical arrhythmologist expert in the interventional treatment of complex arrhythmias. He performs ablation procedures of atrial fibrillation, paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardias, atrial tachycardias and flutters, ventricular ectopic beats, ventricular tachycardias, zerofluoroscopy procedures; implant pacemaker, defibrillators and CRTs, and wireless biventricular devices. He also coordinates the Sports Arrhythmias Clinic, which is aimed at both professional athletes and amateur sportsmen. Research activity is focused on: advanced ablation techniques of ventricular tachycardias, predictors of successful catheter ablation, arrhythmias in athletes, arrhythmogenic dysplasia. Dr. Vergara is also a member of the International VT Ablation Center Collaborative Group and of the Atrial Fibrillation Study Group of the Italian Association of Arrhythmology. His H-index is 29. He constantly participates as a speaker at international mettings.
