Associate Professor Francesco Pasqualini

Francesco Pasqualini is Harvard-trained bioengineer, inventor, and researcher. Currently, he leads the Synthetic Physiology Laboratory at the University of Pavia. The lab is funded by the ERC to study heart development using human induced pluripotent stem cells and engineered cell culture platforms. Francesco has served as a reviewer for journals and funding agencies, as well as an external expert for consulting and investment firms in the USA and EU.
