Biography
Polyxeni Mantzouratou is a cardiologist and researcher specializing in cardiovascular biology and tissue regeneration. She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and received her PhD with distinction from the same institution. Since 2016, she holds an MSc in Biomedical Research Methodology, Biostatistics and Clinical Bioinformatics from the University of Thessaly. From 2019 to 2021, she was a fellow member of the Tissue Regeneration Research Laboratory of the Department of Molecular Medicine at the Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche Mario Negri (Bergamo, Italy). Since 2021, she has been a postdoctoral researcher and scientific collaborator at the Laboratory of Pharmacology (Medical School NKUA), focusing on tissue regeneration, fluorescence microscopy, and cellular signaling. She also serves as Consultant Cardiologist at the Cardiology Department of Laiko General Hospital in Athens.
