Dr Tiziana Felice is a consultant cardiologist at Mater Dei Hospital, Malta and she is the clinical lead of the inherited cardiomyopathy team. She specialized in the inherited cardiomyopathy field at the Heart Hospital in London. In 2014, she set up an inherited cardiomyopathy service in Malta where patients suffering from these conditions are reviewed and assessed for their risk of sudden cardiac death. Clinical screening of their first-degree relatives is also performed. Dr Felice contributed to setting up a cardiogenetic service at Mater Dei Hospital for cardiomyopathy patients. In 2019 she obtained a master’s degree by research in identifying mutations causing sarcomeric hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in the Maltese population. She has participated in multicenter research regarding HCM in the paediatric population. Dr Felice speaks English, Maltese and Italian fluently.
